The Leaning Tower of Pisa is known worldwide for its precarious tilt – nonetheless now consultants have printed or no longer it is going straight.

The tower’s Surveillance Team, which monitors restoration work, stated the landmark is “proper and indubitably slowly cutting back its lean.”

The 57m (186ft) medieval monument has been straightened by 4cm (1.5in) over the final two decades, the crew stated.

Nunziante Squeglia, a professor of geotechnics on the University of Pisa who works with the surveillance crew, added: “What counts the most is the steadiness of the bell tower, which is healthier than anticipated.”
